INCIDENTS REPORTED TO THE 6TH DISTRICT – Monday 08/06/12 to Sunday 08/12/12

The below incidents in the Northern Liberties area were recently reported

to the 6th District:

INCIDENTS REPORTED:

On Monday, 08/06/12, between 12:50 AM and 8:20 AM a 2002 Triumph motorcycle
was taken without permission from outside 419 Fairmount Ave.  Security
video in the area showed 2 males operating a white GMC box truck taking the
motorcycle.  The offenders were described as Hispanic males, #1- large
build, bald, #2-thin build, long hair. The Major Crimes Auto Squad is
reviewing the video and investigating.

Between 4 PM, Sunday, 08/05/12 and 4 PM, Monday, 08/06/12, a secured
bicycle was taken without permission from outside 200 Poplar St.

Between 6:30 PM, Tuesday, 08/07/12 and 7:15 AM,  Wednesday, 08/08/12, a
building under re-construction in the 700 block N. 3rd St. had plywood
removed from the window and power tools were taken.  6th District Officer
Maiorano attempted to lift latent fingerprints.

Between 4 PM, Monday, 08/06/12 and 2:15 PM, Wednesday, 08/08/12, a lock on
a tool gang box inside the parking lot, 605 S. 3rd St. was cut and numerous
power tools were taken.  6th District Officer Chim attempted to lift latent
fingerprints.

Between 2 PM, Thursday, 08/02/12 and 112 AM, Friday, 08/03/12, (reported
08/08/12), 2 bicycles were taken without permission from a rear yard  of an
apartment building in the
600 block N. 2nd St.
