INCIDENTS REPORTED TO THE 6TH DISTRICT – 10/1 to 10/7/12

The below incidents in the Northern Liberties area were recently reported to the 6th District:

INCIDENTS REPORTED:

On Wednesday, 10/03/12, 11:55 PM, a purse on a chair next to the bar inside Liberties Bar, 705 N. 2nd St. was taken.  Video showed a black female with a cream colored hat taking it and leaving the bar.

On Thursday, 10/04/12, between 2 AM and 12 PM, the walk-in box in the rear yard of Liberties Bar, 705 N. 2nd St. was entered without force and taken were assorted food items.

Between 2 PM, Sunday, 09/26/12 and 3 PM ,Sunday, 10/07/12, an apartment in the 600 block N. 2nd St. was entered via a balcony door and taken were multiple items.  6th District Officer Stevens attempted to lift latent fingerprints.

On Sunday, 10/07/12, 9:20 PM, police responded to a call of a person shot in the 700 block N. 3rd St.  A victim was found on the front steps of a residence who was shot in the face, victim was taken to Hahneman Hospital placed in stable condition.  A second victim was found on the 2nd floor, deceased with an apparent gunshot wound. The Homicide Unit is investigating. There is no indication that this was a random act.
