The below incidents in the Northern Liberties area were recently reported to the 6th District: 10/08/12 to 10/14/12

On Saturday, 10/13/12, 7:50 PM, complainant was on an eastbound Market/Frankford train using an I-Phone. A male snatched the phone from the complainant’s hand and fled from the train at the Spring Garden St. station. Septa police apprehended the offender at Frankford Ave. and Richmond St and recovered the I-Phone. The 21 year old offender with a N.E. Phila. address was charged with Robbery and related offenses.

On Sunday, 10/14/12, 6th District officers issued a citation for Public Urination outside 100 Spring Garden St.

On Monday, 10/15/12, the Homicide Division announced that an arrest was made in the double shooting that occurred Sunday, 10/07/12 in the 700 block N. 3rd St. One of the victims succumb to a gunshot wound, the second shooting victim survived. The 32 year old offender with a West Phila. address was charged with Murder, Attempted Murder, Weapons Violations and related offenses. The offender was known to the surviving victim and hadbeen invited into the residence the night of the incident.
