The below incidents in the Northern Liberties area were recently reported to the 6th District:


Between 3 PM, Sunday, 10/28/12 and 9 AM, Tuesday, 10/30/12, a 2004 Acura, parked in the 700 block N. 4th St. was taken without permission.

On Wednesday, 10/31/12, 9:50 PM, a motorist traveling north on 5th St. pulled over near Parrish St. to use a cell phone when a male opened the driver’s door, pointed a GUN and demanded money.  The complainant gave the offender money and he fled south on 5th St.  The offender was described as a male wearing a black mask, 5’6″, 140 lbs, black hoody all black clothing.

Between 9:30 PM, Wednesday, 10/31/12 and 3 AM, Thursday, 11/01/12, a 1997 Honda, parked in the parking lot, 105 Spring Garden St. was taken without permission while the complainant was at a concert at Sound Garden Hall.

On Saturday, 11/03/12, 3 AM, (reported 5:10 PM) complainant was waiting for a bus at  2nd & Spring Garden Sts. when a male came from behind, stuck and unknown object against her back and demanded her property. The offender took a prepaid cell phone and some cash and fled, the complainant never turned around and could not provide any description of the offender.


On Wednesday, 10/31/12, 6:55 PM, 6th District officers issued a citation to a male for Open Container of Alcohol, outside 400 Green St.

On Saturday, 11/02/12, 1:15 AM, 6th District officers arrested a male for Public Intoxication outside 100 Spring Garden St.

    Is there anyway to get information from the 26th district? They seem to be lacking lately. Even when the crime update is issued, it is not very detailed. There have been break-in’s lately near my home and I would like to know more information about it.
